Traditional school year calendar We have a traditional school year that starts the Wednesday after Labor Day and ends in early June. We have vacations for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. Each month has at least one long weekend.
Chapel Each Wednesday, at 8:30 A.M. we conduct an all school chapel program in the school's auditorium. Classes take turns hosting chapel by students leading a prayer, leading the pledge to the American flag, and participating in their presentation of songs, skits, recitations of Scriptures, or poetry. We conclude our time with worship songs and prayer. Parents, grandparents, and other guests are always welcome. Many dads are able to adjust a Wednesday schedule to come to their own child's chapel. After three chapels per year, participation in the Christmas program, and the end-of-school program, the students all have confidence presenting in front of an audience.
Back to School Night In the fall, parents attend a meeting at school to learn about general school information and then spend time visiting their children's classrooms to hear information specific to each grade.
Christmas program Each child participates in our evening Christmas program which focuses on the birth of Jesus.
Speech meet and art festival Students participate in the ACSI speech meet and art festival.
Open House Impressive display of student projects, reports, and artwork. Open to the public.
8th Grade Graduation & Best of Chapel Each child participates in our "Best of Chapel" program that celebrates the 8th graders' graduation.
